We have to admit, after almost twenty years in the wedding industry, we don’t have many “firsts”. Angela & Max checked off not one, but a few! on their wedding day at the Cooperage.

Couples who forge their own path, and do their wedding exactly how they want, is inspiring. Angela & Max got ready together, they helped each other with their details. They didn’t have a wedding party. It wasn’t a formal sit down dinner; dinner was a few stations set up, that people could graze on. They said “Make it a wedding you’d want to attend. Every choice we made meant something to us, was something we truly enjoyed, or that we’d appreciate as a guest.”

Max’s dad, Bill, has been in the band Big Al & the Hi-Fi’s forever. Max has played with his dad since his teens! It was only fitting that Max’s brother-in-law, Joe and his dad performed the music for the first dance: My Life – The Beatles. Max popped up on the stage a few times to perform… it was awesome!

This was one of our favorite weddings to date!
