Amy & Darnell are married!

On a breezy day in Chicago, Amy & Darnell had a perfect wedding at River Roast along the Chicago River. They surrounded themselves with the most wonderful people and felt the love surrounding them. Amy said, “All of the love in the room was palpable. Not just between us, but from and among all of our guests. We have never felt anything like it!” It’s true! I hugged a guest during cocktail hour and I’d never met her before in my life. Everyone was so happy! Darnell said it actually surprised him by the amount of love they felt from everyone.

When we asked Amy & Darnell for their advice to future wedding couples, they said

Darnell: “Don’t let planning consume you. Stay present. Schedule specific nights during the week to dedicate to planning together. Don’t forget what it’s all about.”

Amy: “Stay true to yourselves in every way. Your budget, your guest list, your style, your relationship. You’ll have no regrets if you get to live out your wedding day that genuinely feels like you as a couple.” Also, rent a boat. 🙂
