Allison & Tradd are married!
Allison & Tradd met through Tradd’s sister-in-law, who was also Allison’s friend/roommate. Their first date Six Flags! Talk about a ride (see what I did there?)! They got stuck on two rides and have never returned. However – their relationship is soaring.
Their wedding at the Ivy House in early spring was full of guests who were vaccinated and ready to show Allison & Tradd all their love. It felt good to be back in the saddle! Allison & Tradd wanted to do as much as they could before the ceremony so they could really enjoy their guests.
Definitely do as much as you can before the ceremony. If we had not done this, it would have been so difficult to gather everybody for all the photos and we would have missed out on cocktail hour and catching up with many of our guests. Also do a first look! It was more personal just having the two of us together enjoying the moment instead of having that experience in front of all our guests at the ceremony.
They ended up saying their First Look and First Dance were their favorite parts of the day!
Their biggest surprise was that their ring bearer refused to put on his clothes (hey, we’ve all been there, amiright?). So, his big brother stepped up to the plate and delivered a home run. The original ring bearer, however, ended up napping on his dad – also a groomsman – during the entire ceremony. Have your eyes out for some cute snuggle photos.
