Karissa and Pete kicked off our 2015 season and their wedding day couldn’t have been better. We’ve known them for a while and were honored when they asked us to photograph their wedding at Turner Hall. The weeks leading up to the wedding, Karissa joked she was going a bit stir crazy with the DIY projects. The hall itself doesn’t need much. I mean, can Turner Hall be more photogenic?! Add some a glowing bride and groom, their beautiful friends and family, perfectly planned DIY projects and the place was a photographers dream.
Since their ceremony was at 4:30PM, they opted for an First-Look to really extend their wedding day. Doing the first look early gave these two enough time to hang out with their wedding party, see each other for the first time and brave the cold January air for some outdoor photographs.
We had a blast with Karissa + Pete, their families and friends! Here’s how we saw the day…

Karissa + Pete’s advice for future couples:
“Have a bottle of water handy (having pockets in your dress helps). Spend as much time as you can in your dress…you only get to wear it once!”
