Samantha & Lobo were married at Milwaukee’s “The Box” and their celebration continued at the Milwaukee Public Market.
These two also got married in April in Lobo’s hometown in India. Their Indian wedding had over 700 guests! Though their Milwaukee wedding was much smaller, Samantha incorporated some of the Indian traditions into their day. The bride and her two bridesmaids wore Henna tattoos on their hands and feet – it was beautiful. They also wore rhinestone bindi’s!
The day, for Samantha, began at Neroli with her mom, sister (and hibernating niece or nephew, Poppy) and best friend. The morning was so relaxed and perfect for this group. Lobo and his groomsmen got ready at their apartment along with their cat. This was our first time photographing at The Box; what a cool space! The reception continued at one of our favorite spots in Milwaukee – the Public Market.
Bob Korek Polka Band kicked it up a notch and got the party moving before the DJ took over.
Their advice to future brides & grooms: “Write thank you cards as your gifts come in. Most people will mail gifts to your address before the wedding and it’s much easier to start them right away then to make a list and wait until everything is over.”
The biggest surprise was “… the matron of honor and bridesmaid couldn’t bustle my dress and TJ had to do it!” You know things are going well if that’s your biggest surprise! Samantha and Lobo were so kind to us. We wish we could photograph their wedding over and over. They were so relaxed on the day of, their non-stop smiles were contagious. Congratulations Sam & Lobo!
