Katey & Chris are married!
During their engagement, Katey & Chris had a lot going on, to say the least. They were finishing school, starting new careers, moving, doing long-distance. They also planned a wedding in the most thoughtful way – the way they wanted! Katey said, “Make your wedding your own. Throw out the traditions and the norms that don’t feel like you two and add things that do.”
Katey & Chris opted for no wedding party, they did a first look and said their own personal vows during the ceremony. They had Katey’s step-father’s band perform with a huge band! They had family and friends make mini desserts for a totally epic treat table. Katey said the dessert table is “something I am going to brag about for the rest of my life.” Honestly – me too. Me too.
This Labor Day weekend wedding was dreamy at The Ivy House!
