If there’s one word that could describe Kaitlyn & Matt’s wedding at The Haight in Elgin, IL, it would be ✨bright✨.
And here’s why. Kaitlyn & Matt light up a room. I imagine they do individually, but since we only know of them as together, we know they shine as a couple. Every time they locked eyes, you can see the love they express for each other.
They also chose very vibrant floral for their wedding day, and it was honestly refreshing. The Haight is a historic venue, dating all the way back to 1890 when it was a storage and transfer company. The industrial charm of The Haight remains and is perfect for beautiful events like Kaitlyn & Matt’s wedding day. With the help of Saville Floral, the dark, cozy corners of the venue were transformed into bright, flourishing spaces. We totally loved it.
Being a week after the summer solstice, Kaitlyn & Matt’s day was also, literally, bright. We absolutely adore summer solstice weddings because it means hanging out with your most cherished friends and family on the longest days of the year. Their outdoor ceremony was a hot one, but it was one of Matt’s favorite parts of the day.
Between the two of them, the whole day was just about covered with different parts being favorites. We’re grateful to have witnessed and photographed it all. Congratulations Kaitlyn & Matt!
