Jordan & Michael are married again!
So much of 2020 and 2021 has been unknown, right? It’s like we’re all flying by the seat of our pants (what a weird saying), figuring all this out as we go. In the wedding industry, every couple is doing things a little differently and we love that so much. No day is the same. Just like how the past two years have gone.
Last year, Jordan & Michael made things official with a small church ceremony and backyard dinner. This year, it was finally time to celebrate with all their friends and family who were not able to be with them in 2020. Since this was their second time around to planning… basically the same wedding (so similar – so different), Jordan & Michael had a different approach to planning.
We saved all the wedding planning worries up until the last 2-3 months (and all the planning motivation, too), potentially a blessing but more likely a curse. We were so lucky that this year we had extra support from so many amazing vendors, whereas last year we had to finagle a bit more on our own, so the second go was much easier.
As with so many other couples around the world, Jordan & Michael relished having all their family and friends together in the same room again. It gave a new light to what’s important on your wedding day. Jordan even put a unique spin on this by saying, “We wish we (ok, just me) wouldn’t have stressed over a table sign or a minor detail, since really it’s the people and the energy of the day(s) that make it all so special and worth it.”
Congratulations Jordan & Michael!
