Emily & Chris are married!
Oh, summer in Milwaukee <3 This is what we crave in winter. It’s what holds us over when March hits and we’re just ready for some sunshine. Emily & Chris’s holiday wedding was the pinnacle of summer.
Not only was their wedding day beautiful weather-wise, it was July 3rd! That might be more of a holiday in Milwaukee than July 4th (okay, maybe not but!!!) You get the Big Bang! Beginning in May of 2018, Emily & Chris had the idea of getting married on July 3rd as a way to extend their wedding day into the holiday weekend. They’d also get the firework show along the lakefront! After their engagement in late 2018, the plan was official!
As the sunset on Milwaukee, a thick fog rolled over the city. So thick, we could not see the buildings next to Jan Serr Studio out of the windows. The fireworks were delayed by about a half hour but as soon as they “fired away”, the entire wedding crew went outside to be on the patio deck. It was the perfect summer night and the most perfect wedding celebration!
