Bethany & Stephen got married this fall at the Cooperage in Milwaukee!

Although they went to the same high school, Bethany & Stephen actually didn’t meet until after graduation in 2014. They both found themselves in Punta Cana for mutual friends wedding. Bethany & Stephen formally met, swam, danced, and had all their meals together. It was not only a first date, but several first dates shared on vacation in paradise. It was quite the beginning!

The beginning of their wedding day started like your average day in October. But it wasn’t average at all, now was it? For their First Look, we took Bethany & Stephen to one of our favorite quiet streets downtown. They said it was one of their favorite parts of the day! Their other favorite parts were taking a moment for personal vows and when they were officially announced as married!

When we were at Lake Park for portraits, we could hear thunder rolling in. With a firm eye on the radar, we were able to get all family photographs in and packed up the crew before the skies opened. It rained for the remainder of the day! Bethany & Stephen said this was their biggest surprise. However, they rolled with the punches and kept an open mind about it all.

They say rain on your wedding day brings good luck, so we definitely embraced that!
